Agent Management
Launch an agent, connect it to a broker account, and choose which strategies it trades.
After building and testing a strategy, the next step is deployment. In Charton, you do this by creating an agent — a trading entity that connects to a broker account (demo or live) and runs one or more strategies on that account's portfolio. Each agent operates independently and can be monitored, paused, or adjusted at any time.
How it works
What you can see
Every agent has a full dashboard. You can monitor the agent's overall performance, drill down into individual strategy results, and see live positions — all in one place.
- Historical performance of the agent as a whole
- Performance breakdown per strategy within the agent
- Live open positions in real time
- Filter results by strategy type or time period
- Overall P&L, drawdown, and trade history
Control
You can enable or disable specific strategies within an agent at any time. Each strategy runs according to the parameters you defined when building it — position size, stop loss, take profit. On top of that, you can set general limits at the agent level that apply across all strategies on that account.
Strategy-level
Each strategy runs with its own defined parameters — size, SL, TP. You can turn individual strategies on or off within the agent.
Agent-level
Set general restrictions that apply to the entire agent — maximum drawdown, total exposure limits, or other account-wide rules.
Demo and live accounts
An agent can be connected to a demo account or a live broker account. Running on demo first lets you observe how the agent behaves in real market conditions without risking capital. When you are confident, you connect it to a live account using the same setup.
